Construction software got very good at one job: helping a general contractor manage the trades below them. Subcontractors have spent twenty years as guests in that software, entering their data into someone else’s system to answer someone else’s questions — and keeping the numbers that actually run their business in a spreadsheet on the side.

The simplest thing a trade contractor builds: structure resting on something that holds. What carries the load is bigger than what shows.
SC Connect was built greenfield for one market: trade specialty contractors doing $1M–$30M a year, self-performing commercial work. Not a general contractor product with a subcontractor mode. Not a horizontal project tool with construction templates.
That focus is why the product knows what a G703 continuation sheet does with stored materials in month two, why it can produce a WH-347, and why the approval flow assumes the person signing will never log in again.
It is a young product and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. There are no customer logos on this site because there are not yet customers to name. What there is, is a product that runs a real job end to end — and the fastest way to test that claim is to bring us one.

The GC never gets an account
Superintendents will not create logins in your software, and designing as though they will is how approval workflows die. They get a signed link, a document and a signature field.

Records outlive the subscription
Certified payroll is signed under penalty of perjury and lien deadlines forfeit rights in a day. A billing problem makes an account read-only, never dark — reads, exports and downloads keep working in every state.

One number, entered once
Most margin leaks live in a handoff between two systems that each hold a version of the truth. There is one path from a signature on a phone to a line in QuickBooks, and nobody retypes anything along it.
