W-001Who it’s for

Trade contractors between one and thirty million.

Big enough that a missed change order is real money. Small enough that nobody’s job title is “systems administrator”. That is a narrow band, and building for it is the reason the software fits instead of nearly fitting.

W-201Role schedule

Including the one who will never make an account.

Owner

Today

Cash sits in someone else's account. Extra work turns into an argument two months late. Four subscriptions, none of which agree.

With SC Connect

Live margin per project, signed tickets that become billable change orders the same day, one subscription.

Project manager

Today

Hours reconciled against budget by hand. The pay app rebuilt in a spreadsheet every month. RFIs sent into silence.

With SC Connect

Continuation sheets that calculate themselves, one-click QuickBooks invoicing, and a response clock on every outgoing RFI.

Foreman

Today

Desktop software squeezed onto a phone. Chasing a super across four acres for a signature. Receipts in the truck door.

With SC Connect

A mobile app that opens fast, a whole crew logged in under a minute, and a signature captured on the glass where you stand.

The GC's super

Today

Will not create an account in a subcontractor's software. Will not pay for a seat. Will not remember a password.

With SC Connect

An emailed link, a document, a signature. Thirty seconds, no account, forwardable to their PM.

W-900Exclusions

Three answers we’d rather give now than in month two.

A product that fits a narrow band fits it well. Saying so out loud costs a few demos and saves the ones that were never going to work.

01
General contractors
The whole product assumes you are the one sending the pay application, not receiving it. Nothing here manages your trade partners' compliance, because that is the software you already have.
02
Residential remodelers
The vocabulary is commercial: schedules of values, G702s, certified payroll, retainage step-downs. On a kitchen remodel that is machinery you would be carrying for nothing.
03
Anyone over about 75 seats
Past that, you are usually running multiple legal entities and an ERP conversation. That is the Enterprise plan and a real scoping call, not a checkout page.
